Vieques has so many beautiful beaches, you will always find one that is all but deserted. Vieques' bio(luminescent) bay is reportedly the healthiest (and therefore the most spectacular) in the world. Vieques is an island-municipality of Puerto Rico and a U.S. Commonwealth meaning that American citizens do not need a passport to travel here. Vieques offers many kinds of accommodations--from adventurous to luxurious, you will find what you are looking for! Vieques is a short flight or a longer car-and-ferry trip from San Juan. Here you can leave praise, complaints, ideas, greetings, any text about Vieques. Much has been said about the "wild horses" of Vieques. The Navy occupied Vieques as its main Atlantic training site for air, sea and land maneuvers from 1941 to 2003. You're on vacation, so you will want to stretch out and relax!
